Next weekend on the 25th of May starts the kuNstmarathon (artmarathon), a national happening and I wil be in it!!
My paintings will be in a exhibition in a hotel in Zoutelande till June 1.
I’m soooo exited about it!!
This week I received the digital programme and two (!!) of my paintings are in it!!

I keep on painting and painting… I have to go on and on… I’m in such a creative flow, nothing can stop me at the moment…
Today I finished another portret of a famous filmdiva… Nathalie Wood this time;

Goodmorning everybody!!
I like to show you the result of a very creative weekend!
It’s not painted on the unusual size canvas – I’m still looking for the right image for that one!
But I was in such a creative mood that I decided to make ‘Sophia’ first. Here she is:
size: 50 – 60 cm.
Some other great news is that my first exhibition ia a fact!!
On May 25 the ‘KUNSTmarathon’ (ARTmarathon) starts with all kinds of creative activities and exhibitions. And I’m sooo glad I’m allowed to be part of it!
Ofcourse I will take pictures so I can show you how it was!!!

I loved working on the Liz Taylor painting soooo much that I decided to make a second one in that style.
This time I made a blue version with a portret of Twiggy….
I’m still not tired of these kind of paintings so I’m thinking about the next one.
I want to make one in an unusual size; 50 – 150 cm.
Just wait and see if it will work out….

Hi everybody!!
I’m still alive and kickin’!! (just in case you wondered…)
After I finished my calendar pages I took some time off. Not entirely out of my own free will but I had some computer problems as well. I can’t say that thing is working 100% to my satisfaction now but at least it IS working…

After major computer problems it seems like I’m back online…!!
First of all I want to tell you that my paintings of Queen Beatrix (see former post) didn’t make it to the finals… and therefor they won’t be included in the exhibition at the Loo Palace… Aaaahh… too bad but I’m not too disappointed about it. There were over 2000 entries (they only selected 65 of them) and lots of them are really fabulous works of art!!
On December 5th I showed you the first 5 pages of my 2013 calender. In the mean time I have finished the other 7 as well.

On the 31st of January our Queen Beatrix will celebrate her 75th birthday. Therefore a Dutch television station challenged everybody to make a portrait of her. It doesn’t matter how or what. It can be a painting, drawing, sculpture, knit-work or whatever!!
The best works got to be in an exhibition at The Loo Palace…! How cool is that??
I made two paintings, here’s the first one:
