I’m in the last week of my vacation and it’s about time to show you what I’ve been doing so far…
Well, let’s start with this painting. Made this one just for fun and in the same way and style as the ones of Carmen and Liam. I just loved the whole process of making those paintings so much that I wanted to paint an other one. I think I will hang this one in my office at work.
Usually I make a new post on Sundays but I simply didn’t came to it yesterday… Time got in the way… Sometimes that happens to all of us don’t it??
But hey, now I’m here and I can show you a few new items I made last week.
I’d like to start with this little doll…
On May 15 I told you I was working on a knitting project. At that time I couldn’t tell you more because it was a present and therefore it had to stay a secret. It was a gift for Mirjam’s newborn baby boy, named Sil. He was born on June 2. Hop over to her blog there are some cute pictures of the little guy!!
Mirjam received my gift last week so now I can show the monkey to all of you…
With the monkey I sent this card in matching colors…

And that’s all for this week my friends. I’m very busy redecorating the bedrooms of Carmen and Liam.
Next Saturday there will be a big flee market in our village. Everybody was asked to clean up your attic, closets and garages and donate all the things you don’t want anymore. Well, I did!!! You wouldn’t believe how many toys I “found” which haven’t been played with in years…!! Yesterday morning I brought three (!!!) carloads of toys, games, and all kinds of other things to the place where they collect everything.
Yesterday afternoon (and evening) I spent behind my sewing machine. I made new curtains for Carmens room. I think they look great!! From the leftover piece of fabric I’ve made some cushions.
I will take pictures when the rooms are finished!!!
