As you could read in my former post, I started an art journal. And I love filling the empty pages of my book.
Here is my latest page…
The quote maybe is a bit hard to read but it says:
Use what talent you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.
And I believe that’s so true… I know I’m not the best “art journaler” but it gives me so much fun just to try new techniques and let it loose…

One of the things I really wanted to start with in 2011 is an Art Journal!!
I bought me a book but somehow I couldn’t get started… A new book, so neat and clean. I was afraid to ruin it on first attempt to make a journal page… Last week I finally got rid of that idea and started this first page…
I had printed these pics of me for an other LO (see that one later in this post…) but I wasn’t too happy with the way they turned out. Instead of throwing them away I used them in my journal…!

The new year has begun and I can tell you my son still has all his fingers… But he did get a little hurt by a piece of burning firework that fell from the sky and landed in his neck… leaving a nasty burn mark!! I saw it happen and he really couldn’t help it. And that is just the thing that scares me the most about firework, you can’t control everything about it.
I have a long list with all the things I wanna do/make in 2011….
I’ll start by showing you the finished canvasses with the animal collages!
And I’m pleased with the end result…
